On August 21st a number of our students participated in the 2022 AlpineStars Schools MTB Series in Round 3 at the new Haunted Hills Bike Park. The riders were asked to complete a number of the trails with the Under 9’s completing almost 3kms of hilly terrain, while the Under 11’s rode 5km and the Under 13’s a gruelling 7kms. This was the first ever event Haunted Hills has hosted and involved children from schools and MTB Clubs all over Victoria. A huge congratulations goes to Hugo Rees (6) who finished 14th in the Under 9’s and Arlo Warner (8) who completed the race in 5th position. Jasper Warner finished in 5th place for the Under 11’s and Noah Warner in 9th place for the Under 13 boys section. Adeline Rees came home with the medallion after winning First Place in the Girls Under 11 section and should be incredibly proud of her achievement!
Congratulations to all our MTB riders, what an amazing effort for your first race!
