News from Grade 5/6 AB
This term the students have been learning from a different learning environment and away from their peers. There has been a lot of uploading, watching of videos as well as attending Google Meets, and they are doing an incredible job. Here are some comments, snippets of some book reviews for their learning buddies and an introduction to angles
Josh “I am finding some days to be a little challenging but overall its fun because you can spend the day with your family"
Alex “I’m liking remote learning because I finish by 12, have my lunch and then get to go outside and enjoy the rest of the day”
Kye “Remote learning can be a bit hard because I do have as much help at school but I finish early, eat and get the time to go outside and enjoy the day riding my bike”
Max Moroney. Monkeys Tail by Alex James Rance Stars:⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
This Book is called Monkeys tail, it is written by 2017 AFL Premiership star with Richmond, 5 time all Australian, one time all Australian captain and regarded as one of the best defenders of the modern era Alex James Rance. The genre of this book is fiction and the story is based on Alex Rances career ending injury in the opening round of 2019.
Emily Laidlaw. Possum Magic, by Mem Fox Stars:⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The book Possum Magic by Mem Fox is a great book for young children who like reading about animals. It is a fiction (not true) picture book that is well known in Australia.
Indee Kelly. Title: One Step At a Time Author: Jane Jolly Stars:⭐⭐⭐⭐
‘One Step At a Time’ is written by Jane Jolly and illustrated by Sally Heinrich, it is a fiction book and I think that the age rating is 4-7 and the people who would like this book are people who like elephants and amazing things happening.
