Dear Parents

Today we celebrated Crazy Sock and Crazy Hair Day. There was such a wonderful display of colour and fun across the school. While this was lots of fun for the children, the gold coin donation will mean that children in countries less fortunate than we are will benefit from your generosity. These days are a wonderful way for the children to have some fun and make a difference in the lives of others at the same time.

Over the next two weeks the teachers will be speaking with all of the children, asking them who they would like to have in their class next year. They will be asking them for the names of three children who they feel that they work well with and would like in their class. It would be most helpful if you could please have this conversation with your child over the weekend so that they have had an opportunity to think about their choices prior to their conversation with their teacher. We do all we can to ensure the children have at least one of their choices in their class. Please focus on the need for them to choose children that they work well with, not just those they like to be with. This provides the greatest opportunity for your child’s learning as well as their well-being.
