This week in Grade 1, we have been learning about adding additional information to our sentences by using the conjunctions 'before' and 'after'. Here are some sentences the students wrote on Crazy Sock Day.

Cohen: Before I wear my crazy socks, I do the impossible task of getting up. After I wear my crazy socks, I go to my car to go home. 

Mila: Before I wear my crazy socks, I try to find them in my drawer. After I wear my crazy socks I put them in the wash. 

Hugo: Before I wear my crazy socks, I put my shirt on. After I wear my crazy socks, I go home and eat dinner.

Amelia: Before I wear my crazy socks, I get out of bed, do my hair and teeth and then the dishwasher. After I wear my crazy socks, I write my sentences. 

Carter: Before I wear my crazy socks, I eat my breakfast. After I wear my crazy socks, I go to school.
