Little Learners Love Literacy: Milo Monkey Birthday Celebration

On Monday 1st September the Foundation classes celebrated Milo’s Birthday Surprise. This celebration means that the children have been exposed to all individual sounds in our Little Learners Love Literacy Program. The party for Milo the Money consisted of phonics activities, party games, craft activities,  and a treasure hunt. The children were provided with morning tea and lunch based around foods that begin with the sounds learnt. As part of the celebrations the students dressed up as a character from the story. We had monkeys, foxes, rabbits, yaks, penguins and zebras attending school and enjoying the celebrations.
