Swimming
A huge congratulations to all of our swimmers who competed at the School Trials, Western Valley District and Latrobe Valley Division Carnival over the past couple of weeks.
Last Wednesday 21 students represented our school competing against other schools in the Latrobe Valley. We were so proud of our students who represented our St Mary's with pride and enthusiasm (and nerves!). Of these students, 7 are going through to the Regional Carnival on Thursday, 11th March, 2021.
These students are:
Mataya Kennedy - Backstroke
Georgia Priddle - Butterfly
Mataya, Georgia, Imogen and Penny - 9/10 Girls Freestyle Relay
Noah Warner - Backstroke
Riley Richardson - Backstroke
Ben Skinner - Breaststroke
We wish these students all the best!

Three St Mary’s students competed at their first Gippsland Swimming competition, the All-Junior Qualifying Meet, at Warragul Outdoor Pool on Saturday 20th February.
Brothers Jasper (3/4 Alger) and Noah (5/6 Bell) Warner represented Moe Swimming Club. Jasper placed 2nd in 50m Backstroke, 1st in 50m Breaststroke and 4th in 50m Freestyle. Noah placed 9th in 50m Backstroke and 13th in 50m Freestyle.
Luke Scholes(3/4 Alger) represented Morwell Swimming Club and placed 4th in 50m Backstroke and 5th in 50m Freestyle.
