The classic class clowns had loads of candy before the concert. The creative class calmly walked on the stage and danced crazily. In the middle of the concert, Emma collapsed and luckily didn't cry. A couple of clowns got to cartwheel because the music was so crazily catchy. Their costumes were remarkable. By Amelia
Clearly, the clowns were the cleverest act. All of the crying clowns lined up.The clumsy clowns became confused with their creation, but no one could tell. I loved watching the classic clowns get confused in their crazy dance. By Gina

Lions lay in the land lots looking from the stand. By Declan
The classic class clowns carelessly collapsed on stage during the school concert in their colourful costumes with their crazy hairdos. The girls were keen on not losing their clean hats. The clowns’ concert piece was a classic. By Annabelle
Connor the confused clown cried because Carter the ringmaster said that there is a crazy big contrast between him and the creative clowns. Carter declared that the creative clowns were capable of coming up with creative clues, but Connor’s were clumsy, careless and chaotic. By Connor
Clowns at the concert in crazy colourful costumes created by Kate. Crowds were clapping at the conclusion of our colourful, clumsy, clown dance. By Jack

Clever Cooper couldn't control Callum coz it was too complex. The contrasting conditions continued to cause complications. Those crazy concert clowns couldn't calm down. By Lars
Dear Parents and Carers
We have had such a busy and very exciting couple of weeks at St Mary’s. While our focus is always on learning and expanding our knowledge, these past weeks have enabled our students to challenge themselves with a wonderful display of music and performance.
Recently we had Andrew Chinn at our school. Andrew is a fantastic singer and performer who spent the day with the children, teaching them songs and preparing them for a concert in the afternoon. Parents and families joined us in for the concert. This was a wonderful day and one that the children, their parents and the staff thoroughly enjoyed. It was definitely a great example of our faith in action.
We are so proud of our recent production, ‘Circus Oz Spectacular!’ As a school community, we are so proud of the way the students learned their songs and lines, committed to their performance and came to both of our production sessions and gave their very best to their performances both individually and as a class. The feedback from the night has been so positive, with the production clearly creating a great buzz of excitement throughout the school community. It is so exciting to share these special occasions and to watch what it means to our students to perform in front of their families and friends.
I take this opportunity to thank our wonderful staff at St Mary’s. We recently celebrated Teacher Appreciation Day and have just had World Teachers’ Day. These days remind us of the gift that our teachers and all of our staff are to our St Mary’s school community.
The dedication, kindness, care, support, expertise and high quality teaching our staff provide to every child in our care makes St Mary’s such a wonderful school and a great place to be. The Director of DOSCEL, our governing body, has sent a video to thank the staff in our schools.
Kind regards
Lisa

P&F Cadbury Chocolate Fundraiser
As a final fundraiser for the year, P & F have arranged a Cadbury Chocolates Fundraiser.
To make it simple, we will sell the box of chocolates to parents for the cost plus profit (prices vary between $48 and $63). Then there will be no deadline for you to sell them, as the school has already received the money to pay for the product and our profit. We hope that this will make the process nice and easy for everyone!
Boxes can be purchased via CDFpay, and once sold, you keep the money that you have received.
https://stmnewbor.cdfpay.org.au/MonitorOnline/app/#!/login
Please see CDFpay for all the details of what each box contains, RRP and to purchase any that you would like to sell for the school.
Please place orders by 3.00pm Friday 17th November so we can receive the chocolates asap.
Thank you for participating if this great fundraising event. Any questions, please do not hesitate to contact one of the committee members.
